Late Victorian & Edwardian Style Hat – Stella

Hand made reproduction of late victorian and edwardian hat. Made of tailor stiffener, cardboard and wire. Their great advantage is light weight and shape stability. Outer layer is cotton decorated with faux taffeta and feathers. The characteristic feature of this model is small brim, big bow and one, vertical ostrich feather.

Turning of a century is a time when hats became elaborated and sophisticated items, they expressed the women’s personality. They were luxury and desirable.

All our hats keep the style of the fin de siecle era. They can be worn by historians, reenactors, costumers and cosplayers. Our works are in museum collections, but also in private use.
