Handmade reproduction of a late Victorian and Edwardian hat. Made of tailor stiffener, cardboard and wire. Their great advantage is light weight and shape stability. The outer layer is cotton, decorated with faux flowers, embroidered tape and tulle.
The characteristic feature of this model is the brim moved to the side — very elegant and refined. This particular piece is a copy of Cléo de Mérode’s hat from a well-known photograph taken around 1895.
